Who We Are

Who We Are

The Transit Museum Society of British Columbia, established in 1986, is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and operating historical vehicles significant to the history of public transit in the province. In addition to our fleet of vintage vehicles, we also collect and preserve artifacts and memorabilia that tell the story of public transit’s past. Our mission is to increase awareness and share knowledge about the rich history of transit in British Columbia.

As an independent, registered society, we are not affiliated with BC Hydro, BC Transit, Pacific Coach, or TransLink. All proceeds from our excursions and merchandise sales directly support the Society and its ongoing operations, ensuring the preservation and continued success of our work.
