BC Transit Vancouver Regional Transit System P3277 is seen serving route #152 – Vancouver in June 1996. This 1995 New Flyer C40HF bus was one of the first CNG powered buses purchased by BC Transit, predating its current fleet of New Flyer Xcelsior XN40s. In 1999, P3277 and its siblings were passed onto Coast Mountain Bus Company when TransLink superseded BC Transit as the agency responsible for transit in Metro Vancouver. Their CNG powertrains were replaced with conventional diesel ones in the mid-2000s as newer, more accessible CNG buses entered service with CMBC. Some of these converted buses are still being operated today by their current owner, Pacific Western Transportation, in Alberta.
