Yes, that’s right. In the early 1980s, Vancouver Flyer E800 trolleys were converted to Diesel power, becoming “Triesels”. Driver (the Late) Harry Vagg takes our coach, #2649, to the “Flying J” fuelling station in Burnaby.
In 1985 or 1986, 871’s maxi-brake either was not set or released, resulting in the coach rolling down Government Street in downtown Victoria in front of the Parliament Buildings.
