Overview

Community Engagement Ambassadors are responsible for attending community events to represent the Society and interact with guests. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and sharing enthusiasm for transit history and preservation.

Responsibilities

★ Represent the Society at public events, festivals, and outreach activities

★ Engage with guests, answer questions, and share information about our mission and fleet

★ Assist with setting up and managing event booths or displays

★ Promote upcoming Society events and volunteer opportunities

★ Help create a welcoming and informative experience for attendees

Requirements

Prospective Community Engagement Ambassadors Must Possess:

✓ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

✓ A friendly, outgoing personality

✓ Proficiency in spoken English

✓ Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset
