About the Transit Museum Society
Founded in 1986, the Transit Museum Society of British Columbia is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and operating historical vehicles that showcase the rich history of public transit in the province. In addition to maintaining a remarkable collection of vintage buses, we preserve artifacts and memorabilia that tell the story of our transit heritage.
As an independent registered society, we are not affiliated with BC Hydro, BC Transit, Pacific Coach, or TransLink. Our mission is to celebrate and share the legacy of public transit, connecting communities with the stories that shaped how we travel today.
