Description
At the end of trolley poles are trolley “shoes”. Inserted in them are replaceable carbon inserts which slide along the overhead wire. In wet weather they may need replacing every few hours, but usually they would last a day or two.
For its’ trolleys, Vancouver used two suppliers, Ohio Brass (US) and Morgan (UK). TMS has a stock of Morgan carbons which we are offering for sale to the transit enthusiast who wants the ultimate in desktop paperweights/decorations. Since they are carbon, we have sprayed them with lacquer to keep your fingers clean!
