Well, maybe a few hundred at a time! TMS has inherited two major photo collections.
Norm & Dave Smith
When Milan Streit, Richard Dyer and Jason Sharpe purchased GM New Look 762 from Rick Norman, included was a collection of photos originally taken by his friends Norm & Dave Smith (Norm owned the sister bus to 762, 767.) Milan’s friend Mike Groberman has now digitized the collection. The photos, numbering approximately 500, were taken in the Victoria area. They will be indexed by Rob Chew and uploaded to our TMS gallery in the near future. Below are some samples:
Barrie Sanford
Barrie’s interests were mainly rail-based, but he also found time to photograph the province’s buses. His work with the Ministry of Transportation found him travelling all over. Barrie has donated these photos to TMS. Again, they will be digitized, indexed and uploaded in the near future.
