to Burnaby Tst. Centre,5650-equipped with Cummins eng./Voith trans. as test ex Port Coquitlam Transit Ctr. 9653 in 1987. to North Vancouver Tst Centre 8/91, Renumbered into permanent series, Winter 95/96;98/7*:BTC; 99/4: Ex-BCT 01/03: retired from CMBC(RTC). JW: Removed from BTC for scrap; :the engine was pulled out in the early 90s and a standard 6V71 was slipped back in. This was either just before, or not long after the bus was transferred to North Van and became 4650.From what I recall, it was incredibly loud, rattled like heck, but went like a rocket. The rear bench seat had to be raised a few inches to accommodate the engine, so if you were a kid your feet wouldnt touch the floor (JW);
:I believe it was a Cummins L-10 or LTA-10 with a Voith D863
transmission. [KB]
