Gordon W. Hatch of Victoria, BC, built 1/4 scale models. Richard Sutcliffe: Gordon made his rails from "T" section fence posts. He ran the cars from 110V on the overhead wire. This bare wire was about 4 1/2 ft above the rails. Visitors were strongly cautioned not to touch the wire. Of course the power was turned off except when the cars were being run. Some of the cars were big enough that Gordon could get inside and operate the car with a controller visible through the windows in some pictures. This equipment is now displayed in the "Hatch Car Shed" at Heritage Acres by the Saanich Historical Artifacts Society in Saanich BC. Thank you, Richard, for this information.
